Injury victim Phil Jones' Manchester United career is nearing its conclusion when the season ends.

Per the Manchester Evening News, Jones' misery at United looks set to be brought to an end in the summer.

The Red Devils are preparing to release a host of underperforming players who are not in manager Erik ten Hag's first team plans.

Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, and a few other periphery players will be moved on when their contracts expire.
