Jack Collison is delighted to be in action for Peterborough United.
The former West Ham midfielder's dreams of emulating boyhood hero Gianfranco Zola and becoming a Premier League star were wrecked by serious knee trouble.
"I am still in touch with a lot of the boys and they helped me through whenever I was feeling low," he told the Daily Star.
"Joe Cole sorted me out with a physio he used and Andy Carroll and I have been in regular contact. We have tried to keep each other's spirits up.
"Andy has had his fair share of injury problems too so can relate to what I am going through. He is getting closer to a return and I cannot wait to see the big man playing again."
