Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula calm over Liverpool, Juventus rumours

Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula is staying calm over shock interest from Liverpool.

The Italian striker has lit up Serie B this season, registering six goals and five assists in 11 appearances for Massimo Oddo's side.

Reports in Italy have suggested that Premier League giants Liverpool are keeping tabs on the former Parma ace - who moved to the Stadio Adriatico this summer.

Lapadula is well aware of the alleged interest from Liverpool and Juventus.

"If I start to think about it then I wouldn't score anymore," he told Tuttosport. "My house is 200 metres from the Stadio Filadelfia in Turin, but I supported Juve. I grew up inspired by Del Piero."

He added: "I do not deny that I felt pride, but I must not think about it because it would be the perfect way to stop scoring."
