Perth Glory v Central Coast Mariners preview

The Glory will be raring to go after a much-needed week off and now Ian Ferguson has a much bigger array of players to choose from.

Things were looking sick and sorry for the Western Australians with a large chunk of their first team either injured or suspended, making life very difficult at the selection table.

Josh Mitchell, Scott Neville, Andy Todd and Jamie Harnwell are amongst the names back into Ferguson's squad which will increase their depth and being at home will give them confidence.

But they take on a Mariners team who were destructive at times in their 4-0 home win over Sydney FC last Saturday night and will be looking to cement their spot in the top four.

Graham Arnold has some selection headaches of his own as Daniel McBreen returns form selection making his choice of strikers tough after Adam Kwasnik and Matt Simon's superb performances against the Sky Blues.

On paper, the Mariners take this one comfortably but a revitalized Glory may be harder to break down than earlier in the season and a draw looks a likely scenario.

Verdict: 1-1 draw
