Perez to fund Real Madrid spending with big Dutch sale

Florentino Perez plans to fund his summer spending spree at Real Madrid by cashing in on their Dutch flops.

The Real presidential hopeful plans to raise over £80 million by inviting offers for Arjen Robben, Rafael van der Vaart, Royston Drenthe, Wesley Sneijder, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Ruud van Nistelrooy.

After he stepped down at the end of his previous reign as president, Perez saw his Brazilian signings cleared out by the new board - Ronaldo, Robinho, Roberto Carlos, Cicinho, Emerson and Julio Baptista were all jettisoned - and he now plans to do the same with the current Dutch contingent.
