James Perch is happy with his first months at Newcastle United.
Signed from Nottingham Forest in the summer it has been a steep learning curve for the adaptable 24-year-old, but he has acquitted himself pretty well so far.
"I feel fine," Perch told The Journal. "Obviously it's a step up from the Championship, which is a standard I'm used to. It's a bit quicker but I think I've got used to it - yes I've got a few yellow cards but I think I've started well and hopefully I can stay in the team for as long as possible."
