Valencia midfielder Pepelu is happy with his first two months at the Mestalla.

Pepelu made the controversial move from Levante last summer.

He told the club's website: "From day one, I felt the confidence in me from the entire coaching staff and my teammates, and that makes it easy on the pitch. I always try to help and give my best.

"When you arrive in a new place you try to adapt. I can see the daily demands that mean that, despite being young, being here takes you to the highest level. That is what I was looking for: Playing in the Primera Division and performing at my best level.

"The coaching staff knew me from previous years and they saw that I wanted to help. It was all very fast, with natural conversations, and I am ready to help in any facet."
