Pepe and Besiktas frustrated with Arsenal stand

Arsenal attacker Nicolas Pepe will be forced to explore alternative options regarding his future.

The Ivory Coast winger was hoping to terminate his contract with the club this summer.

However, football.london states that Pepe will not get the free transfer he was seeking.

Turkish journalist Gökmen Özcan states that a termination is not on the cards, as the two parties may not have a financial agreement.

As a result, Besiktas and any other team chasing Pepe will have to deal with Arsenal.

The Gunners are unlikely to demand a huge fee, as they want Pepe off their wage bill.

The winger was the club's record signing for several years, arriving from Lille under then boss Unai Emery.
