Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain was the hero in their 2-0 win over Real Mallorca.
Higuain scored one and made the other as Real Madrid kept the pressure on Barcelona in the Primera Division title race with a 2-0 victory over fellow high-fliers Real Mallorca at a snow-covered Bernabeu.
In-form striker Higuain netted the opener and then set up the second for Esteban Granero as Madrid made it nine wins from nine at home this season.
It was Madrid's 13th Primera Division win of the season.
Real coach Manuel Pellegrini said: "It was a very complete team game that deserved more goals. It was difficult to adapt to the climate, but the team did a great job.
"We faced a very difficult rival, who is playing well at the moment and have a lot of confidence, and although we missed many chances I'm happy with the points we have scored."
