Hull City boss Nigel Pearson is proud Manchester United and Liverpool feel comfortable sending them their best young players.
Pearson has signed four young players from the Premier League champions on permanent deals at a total outlay of £1.4 million.
They are defenders James Chester, 22, and Joe Dudgeon, 20, and midfielders Corry Evans, 21 yesterday, and Cameron Stewart, 20.
And striker Robbie Brady, 19, has arrived from United on loan - and scored in a stunning 3-0 win against Liverpool last weekend.
Belfast-born Brady is on loan until the end of December but Pearson is quick to stress to the Daily Star Sunday: "There is no special relationship with Manchester United or Sir Alex Ferguson. People might talk about it in those terms and make assumptions but they would be wrong.
"It is just two clubs doing business for their mutual benefit.
"I'm just looking for players to improve us - and what better place to go to to do that than Manchester United. You've got to be a good player to be there in the first place.
"Given the squad they have got, if young players aren't going to become first teamers, then it is in their best interests to move on.
"That is something Sir Alex realises and he's actually helping these players have a career somewhere else.
"And when it comes to us taking a player on loan like Robbie or goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, who we have with us from Liverpool, it is a case of us giving them a positive experience.
"Players from Manchester United and Liverpool have good habits and they have been brought up properly.
"And to be at a big club, you have to have talent. So we get the benefit of that and the players who come here on loan get pitch time, which helps them in terms of experience.
"That's why Gulacsi is here. I know Liverpool rate him highly and believe being with us will bring him on."
