Dimitri Payet could be back in the West Ham United team this weekend according to reports.
The French playmaker has been sidelined with an ankle injury sustained against Everton at the beginning of November and was expected to be out of action until February.
But club sources have told the Daily Mail that Payet is in contention for Saturday's clash with Liverpool at Upton Park in what could be a miracle of sorts as he gets set to return a month ahead of schedule.
Payet, who joined West Ham from Marseille for £10.7million in the summer, enjoyed a fruitful start to life in England by scoring five goals and providing three assists in his first 12 outings before being struck down by injury.
