Former Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is urging Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan to grab his Premier League chance.
It's emerged Manchester City and Newcastle United scouts have checked on the Armenia international over the past fortnight's Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Pavlyuchenko told Metaratings: “I have little faith in this news. Yes, he had a good last season, but we don't play in European competition.
"But, if this interest is real, he should not ignore it. I would advise Eduard to go to Newcastle, because there are no chances at City, and, most likely, there will be an instant loan (move away)."
Along with the Premier League pair, Inter Milan and Sassuolo have also been scouting Spertsyan this past season.
