When Serbian forward Veljko Paunovic arrived at New York Red Bulls training earlier this week, it definitely took one man by surprise.

Midfielder Albert Celades apparently did a double-take when entering the Red Bulls rooms and was taken aback when he realised it was former La Liga rival Paunovic.

"When I saw him in the other room...he arrived (before) me. He saw me and told me "Hey Albert, how are you? I said "You recognize me?' He said "Yes, I know you.'' It was funny,'' Celades said.

"I know him because he played many years in Spain, he played in attack. He is a good player.''
