Pato confirms Chelsea will be his new home upon London arrival

Alexandre Pato has finally arrived in London ahead of his loan move to Chelsea from Brazilian club Corinthians.

The 26-year-old striker said that Chelsea is set to be his new home, and he is excited to meet his new teammates, as he gets set to complete the temporary move on Thursday.

"I'm here to make a dream come true," he told ESPN Brasil upon arrival at London's Heathrow airport.

"Chelsea is my new home. I really want to play for them."

"I'm very happy... and very nervous.

"I want to meet my new team-mates so I can adapt as quickly as possible.

"Yes, it's been a while without playing, but nothing that my new colleagues can't help me with."

The Brazilian hasn't played professional football since 28 November but will provide competition for Diego Costa in Guus Hiddink's squad.
