Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi admits coach Mimmo Di Carlo can breathe easier after yesterday's 3-2 victory over Livorno.

Ghirardi said: "Parma went on to the field with the characteristics I wanted from my squad - determination, desire to win and hard work. I am happy with the result and hope the team can gain in confidence, because our football can still improve.

"Was Domenico Di Carlo at risk? He can be more relaxed now, just like the players."
