Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi admits they're no closer to agreeing a deal with AS Roma for Fabio Borini.

The two clubs have Borini, who is interesting Liverpool , in co-ownership.

"There's nothing to say Borini won't stay in Parma," said Ghirardi.

"Roma have to understand whether or not they really want the player, especially as he has received other proposals.

"Along with the Giallorossi, we've heard from a couple of overseas clubs and we have to think about getting the best value for Parma."
