Parma chief Pietro Leonardi says they want to keep hold of on-loan Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov.

The Bulgaria international has rebuilt his career this season back in Italy with Parma.

After hitting the winner against AC Milan last week, Bojinov declared he did not want to return to City. Leonardi said: "We want to sign outright Bojinov, I am very confident that he will remain with us, but we must work in silence."
