Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier has earned a lot of praise this weekend.
The defender was highlighted for his gesture towards 18-year-old Ben Parkinson against Bournemouth away from home on Saturday.
The forward came on for the senior side for the first time in the 2-0 loss at the Vitality Stadium.
"When I came on, Tripps put his arm around me and just told me to come on and play with a smile on my face," the under-21 star revealed post-game.
"They're amazing with me day to day when I've come up to train from the academy and when I've been away with the side in the last three games.
“Putting their arm around me and making sure I'm fitting in with the group and comfortable."
