Shola Ameobi was the man for Newcastle United as they progressed to the Europa League Round of 16.
The 31-year old striker tucked away a 64th-minute penalty as the Toon beat Metalist Kharkiv 1-0 on aggregate over the two legs and manager Alan Pardew was delighted with his involvement in the second leg in Ukraine.
"I had a little quiet word with Shola before the game because, in the last few weeks, I thought his contribution could have been greater," Pardew said.
"But he's shown tonight what quality he has. Against this team, I always thought he might influence the game. He did that all night really and it bodes well moving forward."
