The agent of Lazio striker Goran Pandev has played down talk of a January move to Fiorentina.

"I know that some reports are being circulated in the city, but with great calmness I say that in the current market (Lazio president) Claudio Lotito and (Fiorentina sports director) Pantaleo Corvino have spoken.

"Fiorentina wanted to know what the strategies of Lazio were, but when they realized that Lazio were demanding €18 million, everything stopped."
