Panathinaikos have made a move for Sunderland winger Charis Mavrias.
Black Cats boss Gus Poyet is eager to send Mavrias away on-loan before tomorrow's deadline.
Poyet was impressed with Mavrias, 20, in pre-season but he has not figured for the first team for a year.
Celtic have watched Mavrias but Panathinaikos hope to be reunited with him until the end of the season.
