Former Chelsea No2 Henk ten Cate is proud of his time at Stamford Bridge.
The Panathinaikos coach told guillembalague.com: "When I arrived, I found a divided Chelsea and we made it a team again. We were 11 points from Arsenal and 10 from Manchester United. That situation was turned around thanks to the players, Avram (Grant) and I just helped them a bit.
"The international recognition arrived this year - we had 5 individuals nominated for the prestigious UEFA player of the year awards and 3 of them were rewarded."
"Obviously we did something right at Chelsea. Despite all that I wasn't surprised that the staff changed and (Luis Felipe) Scolari was brought in. I know very well how the mechanism of football works,"
