Roberto Chen is set to sign with Seattle Sounders according to San Francisco FC president Julio Quijano.
The 19-year old Panamanian defender has recently been linked with the Sounders but Quijano took it one step further by saying he had signed a contract with the MLS club.
"Sounders has observed in Gold Cup are very attracted to their work in defense of the selection," read a translated comment from batakazo507.com.
Chen has been impressive with Panama in the CONCACAF Gold Cup and is expected to sign a one-year deal with Seattle.
