Pamarot: Portsmouth players behind Redknapp

Noe Pamarot says Portsmouth's players are fully behind manager Harry Redknapp after his arrest this week.

Redknapp held an emotionally-charged meeting with his stars on Thursday after being arrested and bailed as part of the football corruption probe.

Now Pamarot, 28, and his team-mates are vowing to show their support for Redknapp - by leading Pompey to victory at home to Everton today.

The Frenchman said: "It is very sad what has happened to Harry so, hopefully, we can come through for him on the pitch. When something bad happens to any player or member of staff it is like everybody has been wronged.

"We have a great spirit here and we all support the manager. He's the person who brought me to the club and is doing a great job for the team.

"He came and talked with all the players and coaches to explain what had happened - and we appreciated that."
