Palermo striker Edison Cavani has welcomed interest from Juventus.

"These are just stories for the moment and we have not had direct contact, though obviously it is pleasing to be of interest to such a big club as Juventus," agent Pierpaolo Triulzi told illsussidiario.net.

"Cavani has completed a wonderful journey in Palermo and if a big club were to come forward in the summer, then it would be difficult for both the player and Rosanero to say no.

"I think there would be no problems if an adequate offer was made for the player."

He would be the second Palermo striker to make his way to Turin after Amauri last year.

"I can see a great trident with Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta. Cavani would rediscover his old friend Amauri, who helped him a lot in the past.

"They would be very happy to play together again."
