Palermo are ready to make an offer for Celtic striker Georgios Samaras.
The former Manchester City centre-forward has been a long-term target for Palermo since AS Roma sports director Walter Sabatini was in charge in Sicily.
The Giornale di Sicilia says Palermo are ready to offer £2 million for Samaras next month.
