Palermo winter market signing Mauricio Sperduti has gained his international clearance.

The striker was signed from Newell's Old Boys over the January transfer window, but the paperwork was delayed by red tape.

The transfer was finally completed yesterday and Sperduti was thrown straight into the squad for Sunday's relegation dogfight with Pescara.
