Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli is closer to a move to Birmingham City it is believed.

The pint-sized 30-year old is reportedly keen to make the move to the Premier League and after Palermo initially stated he was not for sale, are now open to a £4.5million deal.

Birmingham are set to offer the former Fiorentina and Juventus man a three-year deal and team him up with recent signing Nikola Zigic.
