Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admits Manchester City and Tottenham are maintaining their pursuit of Edinson Cavani.

Steve McClaren's Wolfsburg are also chasing the Uruguay international striker.

Zamparini said: "Is there a Wolfsburg offer for Cavani? There are also other clubs who want him, including Tottenham and Manchester City.

"I was asked about Inter in the media and replied by saying they had made no proposal. I certainly didn't offer him to the club."
