Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini denies they're asking too much of their players following the death of Piermario Morosini.

Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale, a friend of the Livorno player who died on Saturday, had said that too many games take place in Italian football.

"I don't agree because we know that even more football is played in other countries," stated Zamparini.

"To say such a thing in such an emotional moment, like what we are living through after want happened on Saturday, makes no sense in my view.

"Clubs have well assembled squads these days, it's not like in the past. Udinese can count on 35, Palermo 30.

"It's like saying that as people drive too much there are more road accidents."
