Palermo midfielder Enzo Maresca says Manuel Pellegrini has encouraged him to enter coaching.

The former West Bromwich Albion and Juventus star played for the Manchester City manager at Malaga.

"Manuel Pellegrini inspired me to come up with the idea to become a coach," said Maresca.

"Paulo Dybala and Franco Vazquez? At least one of the two will leave this summer."

Maresca and Pellegrini spent two years together at Malaga.
