Palermo director Daniele Faggiano says they're trying to close a deal for Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
The Rosanero are also close to signing former Watford attacker Alessandro Diamanti.
“Diamanti is in the airport in Pisa. He'll be in Palermo this evening and will watch the game as a Rosanero player," Faggiano told Mediaset Premium.
“Everyone knows we're working on getting Balotelli, but it's not easy. The player and his entourage are evaluating the situation.
“What the player wants could well tip the scales in our favour. He is eager to come, I know that he's getting information and asking around about the city of Palermo and what he can do here."
