Crystal Palace are battling to talk down Blackburn Rovers' asking price for Rudy Gestede.
Palace have offered £3.5m for Gestede, but they will have to get closer to £6m to tempt owners Venky's to sell.
Gestede is also interesting West Bromwich Albion and Hull City.
Free agent Shola Ameobi also remains an option for Palace boss Alan Pardew but other clubs have shown an interest in recent days.
