Palace poised to complete deal for Norwegian defender Parr

Crystal Palace looked to have pipped Championship rivals Leicester for the signature of Aalesund defender Jonathan Parr after agreeing a fee with the Norwegian club.

Aalesund have confirmed on their official website they have agreed a fee with Palace for the 22 year old and that he is set to travel to England for talks and a medical on Monday.

If the left back makes the move to Palace he will link up with fellow Norwegian Steffen Iversen at Selhurst Park.
