There is a Premier League survival clause in defender Scott Dann's contract.
Dann joined Palace last month from Blackburn Rovers.
The South London Press says Dann cost £1.5million. There is a further payment, of around the same sum, if the Eagles remain a Premier League club for the next two seasons.
