Crystal Palace midfielder Adlene Guedioura has left the door open to signing permanently with Watford.

The Hornets secured second spot in the Championship last weekend, with Guedioura playing a key part.

He told the Watford Observer: "The thing is, at the moment even if they did say something, regardless of whether I want that or not, it is difficult to say [anything] because I have to go back to Palace to see what happens.

"The transfer window is coming up but at the moment I am focused on the last month with Palace."
