Crystal Palace are locked in loan talks for Aston Villa striker Darren Bent.
The Daily Mail says manager Ian Holloway is looking to bolster his forward line further after signing Marouane Chamakh from Arsenal, the club's seventh signing of the summer.
Palace would pay Bent, thought to be earning £65,000-a-week at Villa, his full wages with the view of a permanent deal if the Selhurst Park club avoid relegation.
Villa would also get a £2million bonus if the hitman keeps them in the Premier League.
