Crystal Palace kid Ashley-Paul Robinson has revealed he's joining Fulham for trials - on Facebook!

Robinson, 19, a Crystal Palace player for five years, posted a message on Facebook saying he was having a trial with Fulham.

Instead of telling just his 198 Facebook friends he unwittingly allowed 2.7 million members of the London section of the social networking site to view it.

The news spread rapidly among Palace and Fulham fans before the clubs could release statements. On Saturday the winger wrote: "Ashley-Paul is go in fulham on monday. If i pull dis off im on dis ting!!!"

The next day he added: "Ashley-Paul is off to Bath With Fulham. Fingers Crossed."

Told that news of the move was the talk of the town, he posted a new message yesterday afternoon, saying: "Ashley-Paul has been very naughty!"

A Palace source told the Mirror: "It's pretty embarrassing for us that this guy is telling the world he's looking to leave.

"Perhaps someone should tell him to be a bit more private about what he's putting on the internet."
