Crystal Palace are keen on off contract Sunderland defender Carlos Cuellar.
The Evening Chronicle says the Spaniard's deal on Wearside expires at the end of next month, and he has not been offered another which means he will be eligible to leave on a Bosman free transfer.
And Palace are believed to have expressed an interest in giving the 32-year-old former Aston Villa and Rangers man the chance to continue his career in the Premier League.
