Palace inform fringe players they must stay until new manager appointed

Crystal Palace's fringe players are stuck in limbo.

Palace chiefs won't allow any players to leave until a new manager is appointed and can assess his squad.

The Sun says Peter Ramage, Owen Garvan and Jimmy Kebe have been told they can't leave Selhurst Park until the new boss arrives.

Garvan has been linked with Ipswich Town, where he has been training in preseason.

Palace defender Ramage is on the radar of Championship clubs, having spent part of last term on-loan at Barnsley.
