Crystal Palace fear red-tape will scupper hopes of re-signing Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.
The Daily Mail says regulations permit clubs to only have two loanees from fellow Premier League sides and the South London club already have Cameron Jerome and Jason Puncheon on loan from Stoke and Southampton, respectively.
Nevertheless, Palace remain serious about the prospect of signing Zaha and manager Tony Pulis may look to turn Puncheon's loan in to a permanent deal.
Palace have moved quickly in the race to land Zaha after a switch to Cardiff fell through following the departure of Malky Mackay.
