Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann insists they can take a lot from their defeat at Manchester United.
Palace had one of the best defensive records in the Premier League under Tony Pulis last season but only Queens Park Rangers have conceded more goals this season. Neil Warnock's side were beaten 1-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday but Dann was pleased to see more solidity at the back.
"Even though United had a lot of the ball, they didn't have chances," he said. "We got back to the resoluteness we had last season. We will improve and there are positives to take from the game.
"Maybe someone could have shut Juan Mata down [for the goal], but on the whole it was a good defensive display. We know we have tough games coming up and we need to make sure we are ready for the Liverpool game [on November 23]."
