Crystal Palace are set to win the race for Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker.
The Daily Mail says Caulker is expected to choose Crystal Palace ahead of Queens Park Rangers in a club-record £8 million deal.
The Cardiff centre-half has been persuaded by Palace boss Tony Pulis to sign up at Selhurst Park on a £42,000-a-week contract.
Caulker was the subject of interest from Harry Redknapp's QPR but the offer from the Eagles proved too tempting.
