Palace boss Pardew targets Newcastle striker Cisse - and Sissoko

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is chasing Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse.

The People says the former Newcastle manager would also like Cisse's team-mate Moussa Sissoko but accepts the current French international is way out of his league.

However, Pardew, who has vehemently denied a report this week that he is interested in Toon keeper Tim Krul, is hoping he will have better luck with Cisse, the striker he signed for £9.3million from Freiburg in January 2012.

Newcastle will not be that keen to sell no matter who is in charge next season.
