Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has joked about Barry Bannan's movie choices.

The Scot is on-loan at Bolton Wanderers and tweeted on Wednesday that he went to watch Fifty Shades of Grey on his own.

"I am not in any doubt about his mental state," Pardew laughed.

"He's a very, very stable young man and hopefully he's not getting involved in any of that sort of action!"
