Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor is delighted with the capture of Manchester City striker Paul Dickov.
Former Scotland forward Dickov, 34, is with the Eagles on loan from Manchester City until January, and should make his competitive debut in the Championship match at Norwich on September 15.
Taylor said: "Paul has played in four pre-season friendlies for City, and will be with us for the next two weeks, so there are no worries about his fitness.
"I have spoken to a few managers who have worked with him, and he will be just what we need."
