Former Juventus striker Michele Padovano hopes they can push through a deal for Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
Juve have been linked with a deal for the Shanghai Shenhua striker.
"Drogba could be the right name for Juve to make the next step," Padovano told Radio Audax. "Even with the African Cup of Nations in the New Year he would be perfect.
"The forward position is a department in which something is missing. Purchasing Bendtner is something that, personally, I did not understand.
"But I'm sure the club had their reasons. With the club getting into the next round of the Champions League some movement in the market will have to happen."
