Paco Herrera has left Espanyol by mutual consent.

The sports director was contracted to Espanyol until 2010, but mutually agreed to terminate his deal yesterday.

The former Liverpool coach is yet another big casualty in a disappointing season for Espanyol, which has already seen two coaches sacked.
