English League Two club Oxford United FC are set to travel to the USA this summer as part of their pre-season training.
Oxford chairman Kelvin Thomas confirmed that the club was looking into a trip to the US, possibly to Boston, to make use of their relationship with Seacoast United.
"We're talking about going to Boston in pre-season," Thomas told BBC Radio Oxford.
"We've got some great links with Seacoast United over there, and should hopefully have some details next week.
Oxford, currently placed ninth in England's fourth tier, may also play a behind-closed-doors friendly with MLS outfit New England Revolution - a possibility that excites Thomas.
"We're all pretty excited by it. It will be a first for the club and an exciting time," added Thomas.
