Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is convinced Calum Chambers will become an Arsenal hero.
Both players joined the Gunners after coming through the system at Southampton.
Chambers has been selected in Roy Hodgson's new-look squad for games against Norway and Switzerland following a promising start to his Arsenal career.
Oxlade-Chamberlain said: "It is brilliant for England and brilliant for him. Calum has been outstanding ever since he joined the club.
"He is going to have a great future for both club and country. I know how much of a good player he is and, if he was not called up this time, it would not have been long."
